Jaquelyn started Kindergarten on September 9th 2011 at Mother Teresa, she is in the french immersion program and has been loving every minute of it. We had some trouble the first week and a half with dropping her off, she would get quite upset and didn't want me to leave, but her teacher Mme. Lyne has assured us that once the door is closed she is a confident, outgoing, friendly, caring girl who is more than ready to be in kindergarten. I think we knew all that, but it's so nice to hear from her teacher. She also loves taking the bus home in the afternoon (she does 1/2 days in the afternoon so Benson & I drop her off at 12:30pm and meet her at her bus at 3:50pm just up the hill from our house).
Here are some 1st day of school pictures - she was so proud to be going to school like a big girl.
We took a shot before we left the house - it was REALLY bright outside.
She wanted this photo taken outside the school in front of the tree.
And here she is waiting in line to be let into the school, listening to her teacher explain to them what was going to happen next.
