Long week

We've had a fairly long week and a half or so. Both the kids have been sick. It started with Jaquelyn as a cold, which quickly turned into her coughing so hard she was throwing up and couldn't breath very well. I took her to the clinic and they put her on 2 different inhalers. Let me tell you...that kid is so stubborn, trying to get her to take the inhaler willingly is impossible. It's really no fun having to force your child to do something they seem so scared of. Not fun at all.
This is a picture of her, she was trying SO hard not to fall asleep while watching a movie, but in the end sleep won.

I have also been having huge problems with Benson sleeping for around a month. He was just not able to sleep more than an hour, maybe 2 max, without waking up with horrible tummy pains. While we were at the doctor I decided to ask their opinion, so he lied Benny down and when Benson opened his mouth we saw that he had thrush. I hadn't noticed it!! But it sure made sense why it was hurting me when he ate. So we started Benson on medication for that - which is making a HUGE difference. He slept 3 hours straight the 1st night and 6 hours the 2nd night. That hasn't happened again, but it gives me hope! 2 days later Benson woke up with croup. Again. Second time this month. Poor baby.

Jaquelyn and Benson sure do love to play together. Here are a couple pictures from an afternoon of playing play doh. Jaquelyn is so good at including him in whatever she is doing!

Finally, Jaquelyn this morning...she figured she'd wear this to preschool. It took me a while, but I finally got some proper clothes on her, and the other pair on underwear off her head!
