Last week of July

We had a busy last week of July. We got home from St Denis on Sunday night, Monday was spent unpacking and then we went out for supper with Auntie Marla. This is just a super cute picture that I got of Jaquelyn. She likes to always go up to the main door of Auntie's "castle" when we pick her up. She was playing with this toy microphone that she got and singing away while she waited for Auntie to come down.


We haven't made it to the lake with the Seymour's much this summer. In fact, only once!! We went the last Thursday in July with Auntie & Uncle and Alanna & Aurelia came too. It was a really fun day (once I got over slamming my finger in the van door - but that's another story). Benson totally enjoyed his first time at the lake and Jaquelyn showed us again that she is just a little water baby and LOVED every minute we were there.

I have such a funny little girl - this blow up car was hers when she was a year and a half and she INSISTED that we bring it for her to use this year. She was squished in there, but had tons of fun.

Uncle Mike was very excited to take Jaquelyn out to Calaway Park for the first time. She was finally old enough to really enjoy the rides (and big enough to go on so many).
Jaquelyn went on the bumper cars first. She had fun...but I think maybe was a little small for them this year. She got a little frustrated when she had trouble making the car drive and steer at the same time.
